June 14, 2004 - KOA Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach, VA

So far the only thing we've seen that wasn't from a moving truck or from inside an RV park is Washington D.C. We've done a lot of tedious, tiring driving. Today, after we leave camp, we're going to explore VB a bit, then head to Kitty Hawk, N.C.

We had Internet access at Cherry Hill RV Park outside DC and I wish I'd looked up outsider art site info. The first night (of Internet access) I just caught up on email and Nness correspondence and worked on this website. Night 2 I was so wiped out after walking around DC that I just collapsed on the bed in front of the TV. In Myrtle Beach there's a camp with Linkspot Access--so we can actually put our website UP and look up attractions.

See Myrtle Beach.

Sorry, Virginia Beach just wasn't very inspiring, I guess. . . One thing of note: the atlas by which we were navigating was really screwy (and it's put out by Mapquest!). In the Virginia Beach close-up, we followed roads that weren't there and ended up on other roads that shouldn't have been there--at one point nearly ending up someone's backyard and at another almost trespassing on a military installation.
