Rectra - The Rubber Ass Song
Where: Nightclub
scene (background)
Music: Eric Barao (Cautions) Words: Rectra, Macleod,
Bowler
Mixed by: Eric Bickernicks
Note
from the director Eric Bickernicks:
This music was derived from many sources. All of the songs Eric
Scott Bloom performed were created/improvised on a live cable
TV show we created back in my Dedham cable days. Fingle Bunt was
my foray into the world of playing with rock bands back in my
late 20's. I created some original music with some of the cast
members (Rubber Ass song/MOS Groove.) I met Eric Barao of The
Cautions through a mutual freelance employer. After hearing 'Lonelyhearts'
on local Boston radio for the past 20 years, I just HAD to contact
them and get their permission. (Note: Eric Scott Bloom once opened
for an Atlantics show with his previous band 'The Pictures'.)
I played the hell out of the Dumptruck single 'Back Where I Belong'
back in the late 80's and had to contact Seth Tiven. Hank Flloyd
is actually Jonah Shue, the beach scene violinst. The rest, (Satsuma,
Zoux & Fernachur) were located after many hours of searching
online through such sources as IUMA.com,
MP3.com and Boston.com.
It's amazing what you can find and bring together through the
Internet.
